BUSU Classifieds

This is a space where BU students can advertise items for sale, services offered or required, or any other key notice for the wider student community.

This is also the home for jobs at BUSU and within the Student Union.

Before listing an ad or responding to one on the site, take some time to read our policies and best practices for the platform below:

  • The overwhelming majority of BUSU classified users are trustworthy and well-meaning. We have also approved each ad on the site, meaning that chances of scams are low. Nevertheless, when meeting someone for the first time, please remember to:

    -Insist on a public meeting place, like the KDC or Courtyard

    -Do not meet in a secluded place or invite strangers into your home

    -Be especially careful buying/selling high value items

    -Tell a friend or family member where you're going

    -Consider having a friend accompany you

    -Trust your instincts, if something is too good to be true, it probably is!

  • All BUSU Classifieds have been checked by a member of BUSU staff and should be legitimate. If you suspect that there is a scam published on the site, please contact us at info@busu.ca and we will investigate.

  • BUSU, or Brandon University Student Union make no promises, warranties, or representations as to BUSU Classifieds, including (1) its completeness, accuracy, availability, timeliness, propriety, security or reliability; (2) provide BUSU Classifieds on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis and any risk of using BUSU Classifieds is assumed by you; (3) disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including as to accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and all warranties arising from course of dealing, usage, or trade practice; and (4) disclaim any liability or responsibility for acts, omissions, or conduct of you or any party in connection with BUSU Classifieds.
